Construction continues to progress. Next week I’ll send those pictures. We are using the new rooms for visitors. The chapel is getting close to being finished. It looks nice. They are now starting on a carport. The weather here is hard on vehicles.
The level two students continue with their project of promoting English. There are some pictures of students receiving books. They have practiced their drama which they will present at Monday assembly. The level three students were asked to volunteer to go work with the children in the STAR program of the Christian Brothers. This is the program for orphans and children who either have AIDS or come from families where there is HIV/AIDs. Over half of the class volunteered to do it. I have some pictures of them. They were waiting for the children to finish breakfast when we went there so I only have pictures of them getting ready. They were very enthusiastic about it. They completely organized themselves about what they were going to do.
There are a few pictures of a leopard cub. The mother was killed and the wild life people asked Sr. Rosa in Riimenze to take it and try to keep it alive. So far she has had it for about two weeks. It will not be able to returned to the wild. It is supposed to go to Juba. We don’t know if they have some kind of a sanctuary for it.
