The pictures below are of the Mass for consecrated life. This is the first time for the diocese to really celebrate it. It was at the Sunday liturgy Feb. 1. We then had dinner with the Bishop. I would suspect it might be one of the longer celebrations. Mass started at 9am and we left from lunch and a talk by the Bishop at 4pm! It was a good day. There are many congregations. There were forty five religious. There are more Brothers here than I have seen in my life. The Missionaries make up all the Brothers but eight of them are African. The line of people is one person from each congregation to introduce their congregation. Sister Margaret introduced the Yambio community. It represents North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Africa. The Bishop also gave us each a rosary made and blessed in Jerusalem. He has a connection there with someone who studied with him in Rome.
