Take a look at some science pictures. We were investigating whether substances are acids or bases. They enjoyed doing it and did well with recording results on their charts. We checked our own saliva, too! They thought that was pretty funny.
There are more construction pictures of the chapel. There continues to be good progress on it. We are anxious to have it finished.
There are some garden pictures. One of the men tends the flower garden for Sister Margaret Sheehan. The other one is mostly in charge of growing the greens to be eaten by the students. He is very invested in it. He can provide meals for the students one day a week. It’s about 75 people.
Two pictures are of Sister Sandra with the focaccia bread she, Trish and Brother Uche made. They actually made pizza but had enough dough left to make this delicious bread. The other one is me with frozen yogurt I made. We can buy yogurt in the market but it’s not exactly like what you buy in the stores. It’s kind of thin. I froze it and added bananas and canned strawberries. It needed to be frozen and beaten three times. It tasted like frozen yogurt. It looks so red because the strawberries made it kind of light purple. I tried to fix the color by adding food coloring and it got very red! It tasted good though.
